“If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses?”
Jeremiah 12:5 (NIV)
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life.” ~Matthew 11:28
God tells us that in this world we will have trouble. He is also kind enough to give us what we need to fully engage in our one wild and beautiful life (as Mary Oliver would say). This retreat is built as a short time away from the regular rhythms of our life, so that we may meet with God and equip ourselves to fully engage with the lives we’ve been given. This retreat is not about escape, it's about endurance - it’s about being able to run with the horses!
Our retreat is for anyone who is willing to set aside a day to meet with God. You need only to believe (or at the least have a desire to believe) that God can speak to you; that he just might want to know you, and share his thoughts and ideas with you.
This guided retreat is held in NE Minneapolis and includes spiritual practices, group discussion and solo times of reflection.
